BRIEF
As museums reopened after the pandemic, audiences needed more than an invitation to return.
The Netherlands’ largest-ever Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera exhibition offered a rare opportunity to rebuild trust by allowing their legacy to be encountered through a contemporary lens.
METHOD
The campaign treated Kahlo and Rivera as collaborators still shaping how creative relationships are understood today. Six influential voices reinterpreted relational dynamics across OOH, social, and digital, presenting the artists’ legacy as something still evolving rather than historically preserved.
IMPACT
The campaign generated 75,000 visitors in three months, drove +25.9% Instagram growth, and became the museum’s most successful exhibition to date.
