Story

Native to Mexico City but raised across Latin America and the United States, Bruno Aguilar (b. 1998) is a Mexican-Dutch photographer whose primary focus is migration. His projects zoom into personal portraiture to explore the universal mosaïque of migrant identity.

By delving into intimate narratives, he accentuates the borderless elements of the migrant persona—themes of belonging, detachment, refuge, home, opportunity, family and distance. His wish is to unite global migrant communities who encounter parallel experiences.
